Contraceptive Pills (Scilla Nor ) Scilla Nor (Levonorgestril) are contraceptive pills, which are useful after an unprotected intercourse. This prevents ovulation and implantation. Each tablet of the contraceptive medicine contains Levonorgestrel bp 0.75 mg. These are useful within 72 hours of an unprotected intercourse are helpful for already pregnant women.DosageScilla NorTM is available in tablet form and can be taken orally within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. The second dose is required to be taken after 12 hours of the first dose. The results have found to be highly effective in cases, where the drug has been taken as soon as possible after intercourse. Possible Side EffectsSome possible side effects after use of Scilla NorTM are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, menstrual changes and ectopic pregnancy.
